Employee wellbeing that’s built in, not bolted on
Find a work-life balance and genuine focus on wellbeing with a career at MPS
We know that people value balance and the opportunity to make the most of both their work and their home. It’s important that our colleagues can work flexibly and switch off when they need to. Our hybrid working policy means you don’t have to commute into the office every day. And you’ll be part of a culture where we actively encourage stepping away from emails outside of your working hours.
Join us and you’ll find a purpose-led organisation, filled with colleagues who share the same values and feel connected to our organisation, wherever in the world they work. We’re here to provide excellent service to our members. And we can only do that with people who are at their best because their work-life balance is right.
One of our organisational objectives is being a Great Place to Work, and there are a range of ways we fulfil that. For example, colleague-nominated recognition awards encourage everyone to notice people doing a great job and to have opportunity to show others they are valued too.
Life can be tough, so if you find yourself in need of support, you can easily access a range of help from independent wellbeing advisors and specialists online and on-demand, plus a wealth of resources through our Employee Assistance Schemes.
Wellbeing support and benefits
Our people are rewarded with a comprehensive range of benefits carefully designed to complement your salary package and provide the kind of support you need.
You can use a dedicated Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) for advice, support and signposting for a range of health and wellbeing issues. The EAP provides 24/7 telephone support from trained counsellors plus access to legal, financial and other health support.
And we provide access to a mental health and wellbeing support hub and online resources to all employees globally, plus a range of other wellbeing benefits and support tailored for you depending on your work location.
You’ll also get access to discounts for gyms and a virtual subscription to online exercise resources to help you stay physically fit and well.
Colleague-led mental health support
Colleagues benefit from an established network of Mental Health First Aiders who can provide guidance and signposting for people experiencing a mental health issue or emotional distress. You’ll also find trained menopause advocates who provide confidential help and support.
Our colleague-led Wellbeing Committee coordinates health and wellbeing campaigns, as well as sharing the voice of colleagues.
There’s bespoke training for line managers on wellbeing and mental health issues to make sure they can confidently support their teams, and a programme of specialist webinars and resources available in our learning academy.
MPS is proud to be part of the Circle Back Initiative, committing to respond to every applicant.
